I love this picture overall. My only big thing is, was that it got really pixelated after i sent it from my phone to the computer. So i loved the color of the sky and the texture of the clouds, but you really cant see it in this picture. I thought i would be able to edit it to make it look the same, but it didnt happen. Its a good angle up picture.

ARTICLE REVIEW

When taking pictures of a animal, you dont want to get any of the background. You really just want to focus on the animal. It's the biggest challenge for wildlife photographers to focus the attention on the animals. One way to edit the picture is just to erase everything besides the animal. What doesnt add to the understanding of the animal should be cropped away. When you have a picture of an animal cropped only around its face the tight cropping draws the viewer's eye to the character and majesty of the animal. The main lighting should be soft yet bright. You should try to avoid distractions in the background. The best way to edit the animal is to up the brightness, and contrast, but really light areas should need to be toned down. dark areas, such as shadows can often turn slightly blue, so it needs to be balanced with the color onlthe main light falling on it.

Poem

i got bored so i put the picture and poem together.

I've tried so hard to explain

by my actions that he's like a brother.

but his feelings are so plain

as he acts as if my lover.

i've tried to help him understand,

but he refuses to believe

that im not in love and can't take his hand.

so one day, i'll leave.

I'll miss my friend immensely

and wish he could've understood.

I hope he'll forget quickly

sooner and faster than i would.

goodbye my best friend,

I'll love till the end.

as i grow to understand life less and less, i learn to love it more and more.

Photo Critique& Edited Photo

Original.

When i look at this photo it actually makes me feel gloomy.

I feel that its too dark, and could really use some more light,

especially around the rainbow. The rock and sand i would definitaly

leave dark, but i would lighten the sky and the water. I think this is

a beautiful picture with the rainbow, it seems to me like its there to

make you happy. When i see a rainbow i always think something good

will happen after. So i think that it has a good essence, its just to gloomy

to make me happy. I love everything about this photo except the lighting.
